Dedicated Server & Root Access Agreement

Important Notice

Root server access provides complete administrative control. Customers are fully responsible for server security, maintenance, and compliance with all applicable laws.

1. Root Access Responsibilities

With root server access, customers have complete administrative control over their dedicated server environment. This includes:

  • Full operating system access and control
  • Ability to install and configure any software
  • Complete network configuration control
  • Responsibility for all security measures
  • Backup and disaster recovery planning

2. Security Requirements

Mandatory Security Measures:

  • Regular security updates and patches
  • Firewall configuration and maintenance
  • Strong password policies
  • Regular security monitoring
  • Immediate notification of security breaches

Customers are encouraged to utilize packet-filtering technology to secure root servers from external misuse. Any security violations must be reported to Fakelit.com immediately.

3. Prohibited Activities

Root server customers are strictly prohibited from engaging in:

  • Software piracy or copyright infringement
  • Spam or unsolicited mass mailings
  • Illegal content hosting or distribution
  • Network attacks or intrusion attempts
  • Activities that violate applicable laws

4. Technical Support Limitations

Root server customers receive hardware-level support only. Fakelit.com does not provide:

  • Operating system configuration support
  • Software installation or troubleshooting
  • Security configuration assistance
  • Data recovery services
  • Custom application support

5. Service Level Agreement

Hardware Guarantees:

  • 99.9% network uptime guarantee
  • Hardware replacement within 4 hours
  • 24/7 network monitoring
  • Redundant power and cooling systems

6. Compliance & Legal Cooperation

Fakelit.com reserves the right to cooperate with government and legal investigations regarding any aspect of its services, including servers used by customers. Any use of the system to engage in illegal activities will result in immediate service suspension and reporting to appropriate authorities.

7. Backup & Data Protection

Root server customers are solely responsible for:

  • Regular data backups
  • Disaster recovery planning
  • Data integrity verification
  • Off-site backup storage

8. Termination & Suspension

Fakelit.com may immediately suspend root server access for:

  • Security policy violations
  • Illegal activity detection
  • Non-payment of services
  • Excessive resource usage affecting other customers
  • Failure to respond to security incident notifications
